Within minutes of setting it atop my vanity I was hacking away at years-old hunks of steak and spare ribs.As many people with teeth know, that alone is an achievement.I love the minimal effort it takes to clean between my teeth.No vigourous up and down and side to side stroking, just slide the floss between your teeth to get all the gook out!Also the floss comes in one very long continuous string so you don't have to go about plucking aimlessly with miles of bristles to dislodge that one chunk thats really bothering you.
People tell me you pay more for Glide and get less in actual flossing power. Well, I don't pretend to be dental savvy enough to argue with this, but I counter with Glide's quality of craftmanship and package design. (More customer reviews)I bought this floss not knowing if it was EXACTLY what I wanted because Johnson and Johnson has recently changed the packaging.It turns out that this IS the dental floss that I've been looking for and no matter where I've lived in the U.S., I almost never see it in the store (so I always buy it in bulk).For those that have used this floss in the past, you know what I'm talking about.Simply put, once you try this floss, you'll realize how inferior your old floss was, and this is why...

The floss is actually woven together with many individual, blue and white fibers, that can spread out freely, which means that all those fibers have the ability to make individual contact with the tooth.The individual fibers mold themselves around the tooth and provide a much greater contact surface area, and because it's not waxed or extremely smooth (like Glide), you get a sense of "feedback" that it's actually cleaning the tooth.When I ran out of this dental floss and couldn't find it anywhere, I used "Glide" and even some waxed products; they were terrible!However, other types of dental floss only become terrible once you know how good dental floss can be, so give this floss a shot, I doubt you will be disappointed.

Johnson & Johnson, please don't stop ever making this product.

FYI: The old product was in a white box with the Johnson & Johnson logo in pink and all the other words in black, except for the words, "with Fluoride", which were in blue.It also used to say "Gentle Gum Care" whereas it now only says "Gum Care"

(More customer reviews)There's really very little one can say about dental floss, but this is VERY smooth and VERY wide dental floss that gets between teeth amazingly well.It's an absolute joy to use this floss.I buy it in bulk, and then double up whenever I use it.It's great.

And incidentally, there's no comparison between this stuff and the regular Glide dental floss.That stuff is wide and just as shred-free, but this Comfort Plus version is much smoother and gentler on the teeth as I floss.

The only negative about this floss -- like other brands -- is that shortly before it runs out, it 'cuts itself off' in the container.So, essentially, if you want to use the last couple yards of this floss, you have to take apart the dispenser.Not a big deal, I guess.

Oral B 060552 Mint-Flavored Satin Dental Floss 12 pk Review

(More customer reviews)Like many other people, I got only 1 when I was supposed to get 12. I complained and got some generic email in return telling me to return it. Uh. I don't think so. I then called their customer service department. I told the lady how it was completely wrong for them to send only 1 and to charge my credit card the full amount of $24.99. She was very nice and apologized.
People here is the deal. They try to get you to buy the 12 before it is in stock. I waited 6 weeks before I received the one pack. Then their supplier stops selling these to them. To try to cover Amazon's mistake, they send you 1 and thinking that you may not notice; charge your credit card for the full amount. I will never purchase anything else from Amazon that they don't have in stock. This was a huge mistake on their part.

So the end of the story goes like this. The very nice lady said she would refund my CC and she told me to keep the 1 pack. I haven't seen a refund as of yet. BAD AMAZON!
Not a good way to conduct business. A very good way to lose customers.

The floss comes in an elegant curvy blue dispenser.I have reused these to carry vitamins when I travel.

I first tried it five years ago when my dentist gave me a sample.I have been using nothing else since then.

(More customer reviews)The type of dental floss most readily available in drugstores and supermarkets is the thin, round variety which breaks and shreds all too easily besides digging very uncomfortably into my thumb and forefinger.

Reach Dentotape by Johnson & Johnson is different. It is flat--perhaps 1/32 of an inch wide--and stronger than ordinary dental floss. It is far less prone to break or shred between your teeth--and won't dig into fingers.

The extra width does not prevent me from getting into tight places although a little extra effort is sometimes required.

Overall, this product has been very good for me. I am so glad I found it.

This is the thinnest and most comfortable floss to use. Out of all the other floss's I've tried, even the ones with the trendy sparkling cases, that say things to make you think that you will be getting the most comfortable and pleasurable flossing experience, this one is the best one.

pros:

1- Thin waxed floss that easily slides in between my tight teeth and pulls out lots of junk.

2- No flavor...Flavored floss is always ultra intensely flavored with mint or spearmint which is very harsh and uncomfortable on my gums.

3- Its inexpensive.Cons:

1- flossing really isn't much fun to begin with.
