I am a bandaid/bandage/1stAid freak.
I am not however, a hypochondriac.
I just like to have the best stuff when the best stuff is suddenly (or required pre-procedure) needed. This tape is the very best I have EVER found. It came to me via my dermatologist. It breathes, it adheres, it sticks (to any angle, any direction, over anything). Furthermore, removing it is painless. There is never anything sticky left behind // it bends & adheres like nothing known to man // recomendations to friends & family will result in further recommendations via the inquisitives.... and perhaps even an extra nice gift @ xmas time! Some even say it works for blister protection when breaking in new shoes... haven't gone there yet but might should I ever need to. This tape is rocket science, it's rad, it's dude-you-need-to-get-some, it's absolutely the best and last tape you will ever need when it comes to 1st aid or post medical procedures. It goes way beyond 'the bee's knees'. Your wounds will thank you; your mental being will thank you; healing has never been where this tape can take you. Think the TV remote, think tupperware, think cell phones, think 'the greatest gifts to mankind's evolution'.... this tape follows upon the same line for it is 'the first & last tape' you will ever need; it is god's gift to the world. It goes beyond anywhere else you will ever need to go. Anything you feel the need to cover with 1st aid tape (whether it be cloth or paper tape) -- you'll never go back to the crap found at your local drugstore. A bandaid, gauze pad, telfa pad, you-name-it ---- this is the last tape you will ever buy to cover and protect it!

(More customer reviews)I went through major surgeries that required a lot of bandaging, only to discover that I got contact rashes from ALL the tapes!!I kind nurse introduced me to Hypafix, and its awesome.It does not curl when you pull off the back and get stuck to itself. It has nice cutting grids on the back.It breathes.It sticks great, put still peels off without major pain. But best of all - it does not leave me covered in painful rashes.Thank goodness, all this healing I have to do just got way more tolerable!

(More customer reviews)I love this tape!Found it after surgery on the tip of my nose leaving an open wound that I had to wash, apply vaseline, and re-bandage at least twice a day.The tip of the nose is a hard spot to bandage:ran the paper tape up the bridge of my nose, either side of the nose, etc. Pulling the tape off became increasingly painful as the skin became increasingly raw. On a check-up trip the nurse re-bandaged with a wonderful tape: it would stretch a bit and, more importantly, came off the skin with no harm to the skin.And it could be reapplied at least once.When I couldn't find it at the local pharmacy, they suggested I call the Doctor's office.They gave me the name (Hypafix) but didn't know where to buy it locally; suggested the internet.
Of course, I went to Amazon.com; paid the extra price to receive it the next day (already have premium shipping).The call was made at 5 pm; product arrived before 10 am. THE FAST DELIVERY WAS REALLY APPRECIATED BY MY SKIN!!I carried this wonderful tape with me for my 3 months in Florida. Unfortunately, I got a bad cut on my ankle; medics felt stitches would not hold because of my elderly thin skin. So they bandaged it and gave me extra bandaging materials for the next few days.FORTUNATELY, I HAD MY HYPAFIX.It worked well on the contours of the inner ankle area.With patient cleaning and re-bandaging, the cut has healed without incident and is nearly invisible after just 2 months.
I left my partial box in Florida; and, once home again, immediately ordered a new box (standard 2-day premium shipping this time) and have it ready for the next emergency.
AGAIN, THE AVAILABILITY AND HASTY DELIVERY WAS THE GREATEST PART OF THIS ORDER FROM AMAZON.
