We feel more confident in their sterile cleanliness because 3M manufactures these products in the USA.Most other bandage producers produce their products overseas with cheap labor.

Note that these bandages have a longer and skinnier shape than the average bandage that you probably have used in the past.And the area of the wound coverage is longer and skinner in shape, versus the average bandage.Think of these 3M bandages as having more of a HD TV or movie screen skinny rectangle shape, versus a standard TV screen that is more square.

(More customer reviews)Brief update (full original review below): These bandages are extremely easy to use and are very comfortable. They have smaller tabs on one end and larger tabs on the other. Apply the bandage to a toe or finger tip using the smaller tabs. Fold it over and wrap the larger tabs around the toe.finger and also over the smaller tabs. The fabric material is quite comfortable. The bandages adhere well and yet also come off fairly easily.

These bandages have two larger wings on one end and two smaller wings on the other end. The bandage pad is in the middle.

This makes it easy to wrap the bandage around a finger tip, toe tip, or knuckle. Try starting with the large tabs and from the side of the finger or toe. Wrap these tabs around. Then wrap the other end to provide a good covering. The fabric bandage is very comfortable.

The bandage has no latex but it stretches and conforms quite well.

This "small finger tip" bandage is plenty big for a finger tip or toe tip (versus the "large finger tip" version BSN Medical also sells).

3M Micropore Paper Tape - Tan, 1" wide -1 roll Review

(More customer reviews)This tape seems excellent for it's original purpose. It is a good skin tone (though probably a little darker than my natural ivory) and is almost gauzy so it's thin and allows the skin to breathe.

I bought this to cover up a tattoo on my finger and behind my ears, so that's mainly what my review is about, sp disregard if this has nothing to dp with your purpose for buying it. It didn't work very well for tattoos. In the past I had worn regular medical tape, which works, so I thought I'd buy skin tone tape so that it's not so obvious. I had to use two layers to cover my tattoos because this tape is thin (so that it's breathable). When it got wet or damp it left goo on my skin. It worked alright behind my ears because it didn't get wet there and it didn't matter if I had two layers of it on. It came off easily and didn't pull my hair.

I gave this tape 5 stars because it is exactly as it is described and would be excellent as a regular medical tape.

I'll be leaving the same review in the 4", 3" and 2" Medipore tape sections. I ordered the 3 different sizes to replace my assortment of sterile tapes I amassed over the years for First Aid Kits, Rescue SCUBA Diver, First Responder and just being active but having an occasional accident. I was used to the fact that some tapes are better for different applications; therefore I amassed multitudes of many different tapes.

This durable cloth like tape has some very desirable and interesting qualities:
* It has a high level adhesion and will stay on for a very long time.
* It has pores that allow the under skin/bandages to breath.
* It is perforated every 2 inches so it can be torn (no cutting required) from the roll.
* It can get wet (still stays adhered).
* It is easy to remove - when you want it to.
* It doesn't leave adhesive residue when removed.
* But the best part of all is that it doesn't tear/take away layers of skin that would make the area raw/sensitive.

My first exposure to this tape was I hospitalized post surgery.I bandaged a leg incision with 4"x12" with some gauze underneath, changing twice a day from morning shower through night of sleep.I wore a 3"x4" patch on my palms (base of fingers to wrists) with a spot of gauze underneath during normal and heavy use of my hands.The tape would get dirty from using my hands, but stuck until I changed it out.

(More customer reviews)I am a speed/strength and soccer coach.I use this stretch wrap for feet and ankles and it works great.It is useful as a base but can be used to provide considerable support while allowing flexibility required for soccer players.It is also a better base for turf toe taping than plain underwrap.It is similar to vetwrap but more supportive.I go through a lot of wrap and tape and I show other trainers how I use this stuff.Everyone likes it.
