(More customer reviews)My 5 y.o. daughter was attacked by a neighbors german shepherd several months ago. She sustained multiple bites to the right side of her face and left side of her throat/neck.After nearly 3 hours of reconstructive plastic surgery, she was left with a total of 14 cm of lacerated/sutured tissue. Obviously, I'm determined to do everything possible to minimize the scarring.Hours of extensive research online revealed that silicone products are the best for prevention/minimization of scar tissue. Cica Care is easy to use & take care of.(Wash with soap & water, and it can bereused..) It is comfortable for my daughter to wear, and it has even reduced the discomfort usually associated with scar tissue. She wears the patches @ night, and a liquid silicone product during the daytime. We are thrilled with the results so far! This is an amazing product & although it is expensive, to us it is priceless.
